FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of leather can Leather Cream and Leather Dressing be used on?

Leather Cream and Leather Dressing are suited for most types of leather, with a few exceptions. They may not work well on exotic leathers like reptile hides or leathers that have been coated or sealed. Some darkening may occur after first being applied. This will normally lessen over time, but we always encourage testing the Cream and Dressing in a discrete area of the leather item first to ensure you are happy with the results.

What is the difference between Leather Cream and Leather Dressing?

Both are excellent leather conditioners made with the same ingredients, just with different amounts of seed oils and beeswax.

Leather Cream is thick balm consistency and is suited for leathers that receive more exposure to the elements, wear and tear, and require the most protection.

Leather Dressing is a thinner, liquid mixture and is best suited for items that receive less exposure to the elements as well as items that are more delicate.

How does Waterproofing Spray work?

Waterproofing Spray’s main ingredient is dispersed carnauba wax that is suspended in distilled water. When sprayed onto a surface, the water evaporates leaving behind a thin layer of carnauba wax to protect and waterproof the item.

What are Leather Spot Cleaner and Canvas Spot Cleaner suited for?

They are both gentle, surface cleaners intended to lift recent spills, dirt, buildup, and other surface-level contaminants. They are not suited for lifting deep-set issues like stains and color transfers.

What is Canvas Wax suited for?

Canvas Wax is a thick wax bar used to wax canvas and other tight woven fabric items. To use, simply rub into the material in a circular motion until the wax has bound to the fibers. Low heat applied with a heat gun or hair dryer from 8 or more inches away can help the wax melt and bind to the fibers.

What ingredients are used in your products?

All of our products are made with 100% natural ingredients that are safe to be used around family, children, and pets. There are no caustic chemicals, petroleum derivatives, or other dangerous ingredients.

What is the process for private labeling / white labeling?

We always encourage those interested in our products to test them on their leather and canvas products before proceeding. Once samples have been reviewed, we will assist you with label artwork design and finalizing packaging elements. Then, once everything is finalized, we can proceed to a first order.

How long are turnaround times?

For most orders the turnaround time is usually 10-21 days, if not sooner.
Longer turnaround times can be expected for orders of more than 2,000 units and orders placed between September and January, due to the holiday season.
